Safety Dividers with Clear Acrylic or Graphics

MOD-8020 and MOD-8021 Safety Dividers -- Image 1Safety Dividers are essential in retail stores, offices, churches, events, and any public gathering. They create physical distance, maintain order, and protect people anywhere groups are present. In permanent or semi-permanent situations, base plates are the logical choice. Where the dividers are meant to be temporary or quickly moved, then castors are the best option.

MOD-8020 and MOD-8021 Safety Dividers -- Image 2PlaceLyft Safety Dividers are constructed from engineered aluminum extrusion. Engineered aluminum is lightweight but significantly stronger and more durable than traditional thin-walled aluminum profiles. The satin anodized surface protects the aluminum from abrasions and it retains its shine under the most challenging environments. Need additional dividers? The modular extrusion connects seamlessly to any vertical or horizontal post. Choose from clear acrylic, frosted plex, or graphic insert options.

The interior channel accepts acrylic, Sintra, laminate up to 1/4" or 8.5 mm. Replacing inserts couldn't be easier.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Are there infill options other than clear acrylic/plex?

Yes. Choose from a wide range of acrylic colors and surfaces, such as frosted or smoked plex. Want something more customized? Consider etched acrylic or vinyl graphics.

Printed graphics are also available for branding or directional signage. Or, select from hundreds of laminates ranging from solid colors, wood grains, or textures.

Request a price on any of these infill options.

  2. Are custom sizes or shapes available for the safety dividers? What about other aluminum extrusion shapes?

Yes. We can cut and bend the extrusions to your specific requirements whether you need one divider or hundreds. In addition, our engineered extrusion inventory is extensive with over 80 profiles ranging in size and in shapes, such as rounds, rectangles, squares, and ovals. There are even backlighting options using LED lights.

  3. What's the average turnaround time for a safety divider order?

Most orders are completed in 10 business days. However, we can react quickly to rush orders. Generally, the turnaround time depends on the size and complexity of the order. Contact us if you have any concerns. We are committed to meeting your needs reqardless of the timeframe or job size.

  4. What is the difference between aluminum extrusion and engineered aluminum extrusions?

Most aluminum extrusions are designed for one purpose, like door frames. The walls are thin, and the aluminum has an acceptable but lower quality.

Engineered aluminum is designed to be modular so that a variety of profiles can connect using a proprietary locking system. The walls are considerably thicker, and the shape is designed to support considerable weight. Our aluminum extrusions carry a 6063 specification, which has structural integrity and is scratch resistant. The surfaces are satin anodized.
